The Dennis Mestrich Scholarship Fund was established in 2015 to honor the contributions Dennis made to the Heartland Blood Center (HBC) during his 18 years as CEO. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide recipients with professional development opportunities that serve the greater Chicago community by leveraging medical and technical expertise. This scholarship is available to current Versiti Illinois employees, as well as non-Versiti employees who are currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an approved course of study.
The Norm Felker and Bill Rietscha Scholarships honor the legacies of two exceptional leaders who significantly contributed to Versiti Blood Center of Michigan. The purpose of these scholarships is to support students pursuing careers in healthcare, blood banking, medical research, and community health.
